Intérêt tout azimuth pour la cartographie collective. On commence déjà à avoir des difficultés à suivre!

Entre autres dans le dernier numéro de la revue autrichienne d’art contemporain Springerin : Maps for the People : Contemporary Web projects on issues of cartography and territorial representation par Alessandro Ludovico

Le chapeau : "The representation of territories plays a historical role in the privileges of power. The ownership of the geographical data has always been in the hands of those in power. These days, however, the reappropriation of territorial representation described and shared in the form of a personal perspective is imminent, owing to new collaborative tools and the resulting mutation in the map’s value. It will never again be granted by power structures, but built by individuals. This also has to do with the strength of global trade and the power to construct, with huge amount of money, a business and aesthetic model that is popular in most countries. These models have to be quickly and highly profitable and »funny« at the same time. But these development models are not only dubious but also culturally dangerous, because they compete side by side with the local economic and social culture."

Hello,

Voici mes réflexions - à chaud- après avoir fait l’exercice d’introduire les données de Nathalie via la grille préfigurées.

 je n’ai introduit que les données de la carte 1 " collecte des interventions artistiques à Bxl". Les deux autres cartes "valeur immatérielle de Bxl" et " projet utopique de Bruxelles" sont en général pas localisables et donc localisées et pas reliée à une période - encore moins à une assoc.

 j’ai introduit les données telles qu’on me les a données, donc telles qu’elles ont été récoltées , même si j’en connaissais plus sur l’intervention.

 j’ai gardé les doublons

 le nom de l’artiste est chaque fois renseigné dans "initié par ", mais peut-être faut-il créer une colone spécifique ?

le Stedelijk museum de Aalst (Oude vismarkt, 13) organise une expo - Art contemporain et cartographie jusqu’au 15 octobre...

leur propos semble plus esthétique, mais peut-être intéressant à voir

ouvert ma-ve : 10-12 et 13-17h et we 14-18h
